Directions
Frame:

  1. Find the center of your frame wire (I used 18 gauge but 16 is even stronger) and mark it with your sharpie
  2. Mark wire ¼” away from both sides of the center mark
  3. Mark a sharp 90 degree angle up to create a sharp u shape
  4. Now mark ¼” from the bend on both side
  5. At these marks bend the wire back outward in a v shape
  1. Measure out ¾” away from the bend (repeat on other side)
  2. Place the ⅜” dowel inside the wire at this mark so the dowel edge is on the outside of the mark, then wrap the wire halfway around the wire towards the inside of the tree to make the first set of tree branches (repeat on other side)
  3. Measure from the very center of the branches rounded edge 1” and mark it (repeat on other side)
  4. Bend wire back away from tree center to begin next branch (repeat on other side)
  1. Measure out ¼” from bend and mark (repeat other side)
  2. Again place the ⅜” dowel on the outside of this mark and wrap the wire half way around the dowel towards the tree center to create the next branch(repeat other side)
  3. Measure out 1” from rounded branch center and bend wire outward(repeat other side)
  1. Place ⅜” dowel right at bend edge and wrap the wire around the dowel toward the tree center to make last branch(repeat other side)
  2. Wires should be crossing at the top
  3. Loop one wire around the ¼” dowel to create a hanger loop
  4. Cross and wrap the remaining wire under the loop two times and cut ¼” away from frame
  5. Wrap and flatten the tail(file if needed)
  6. Gently hammer the frame to make it stronger( be careful to not hammer the wrapped loop)

Garland

  1. On one side of the tree top place the garland wire 1” overlapped
  2. Wrap this 1” up and around the wire, use flat nose pliers to flatten
  3. String your beads then wrap wire to other side of tree top two to three times
  1. Continue to bead then wrap alternating sides down the tree
  2. You should have at least 1 ¼” inches of wire when you reach the bottom
  3. Wrap this around the wire and flatten it and secure to finish the tree.
  4. Now just place a ribbon or a hanging hook into the loop and hang it on your tree, or give it as a gift.
